Help Purple Yam Brooklyn Endure

Starting Monday, January 18, 2021, Purple Yam Brooklyn will indefinitely close. Hopefully they can reopen in a month (may be longer) when the conditions for running a restaurant are better.

With a new variant of the virus raging, no dine in permitted and outdoor seating impossible due to inclement weather and cold, Romy and Amy feel that it is much safer and wiser for them and their staff to be away from harm’s way. This way, they can come up stronger when the conditions allow us them reopen.

Please be generous and help them raise the necessary funds to make it through this difficult period where it is not possible to operate the restaurant. Without any income from operations, Purple Yam Brooklyn faces a very steep climb to survive.
