Purpose of Life - Covid-19
Do you want to join us in making a difference?
Purpose of Life is working hard towards making and distributing food parcels and other essential supplies to the vulnerable/homeless and needy; who are struggling to cope with the impact of the Covid-19 on their livelihoods, as well as those who are self-isolating in their homes and who have little or no family support.
The parcels will be distributed in Batley, Dewsbury, Heckmondwike and other surrounding areas.
We have already signed up as one of the few authorised charities to work with Kirklees Council, with a view to helping the vulnerable and needy as part of Covid-19 crisis and this will work hand-in-hand with the other projects we run, to include the homeless and needy monthly dinners.
We are working alongside number of reputable organisations like CHART Kirklees, who are providing us with information of those in need. We also have our own database, from the Feed the Homeless & Needy Community Cohesion Initiative, which ensures that the monies are reaching those in need.
One of the things that has come out of the Covid-19 crisis is the number of people that are vulnerable, destitute and living in poverty in this country. This is a real challenge we are facing as a community, that needs to be addressed.
In addition the work Purpose of Life undertakes is also helping to build on community cohesion to break down barriers.
Purpose of Life is a registered charity with a 100% donation policy (no salaries), so you can be rest-assured that every penny is making a difference.
Please note every little donation will help. In these uncertain and challenging times, small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause, that means so much to us.
