Hello! Welcome to the East Sangerville Grange's "Help Save the Roof" Fundraiser. The members of the ESG are working hard to raise funds to replace the roof on our historic building - and we need your help! The roof is in bad shape and we need to get it fixed before it's too late!

East Sangerville Grange has stood as a beacon of rural community spirit and tradition since 1904.

Through the years, ESG has become a cornerstone of our regional communities, serving as a gathering place for celebrations, memorials, educational workshops, kids’ theater camps, fundraisers, entertainment, and so much more.

But ESG is more than just a building. It's a symbol of resilience, unity, and the enduring spirit of rural Maine. It's where families come together to celebrate life's milestones, crafters and artisans gather to showcase their creations, farmers and homesteaders find help growing and building, and where lifelong memories are made.

Yet, maintaining this historic institution is no small feat. Now over 100 years old, the ESG hall requires ongoing upkeep and renovations to continue serving future generations. Right now, it is in dire need of a new roof. If we don’t get the job done this year, it’s in danger of collapsing -- and with it, ESG’s ability to keep the hall open for community use.

That's where you come in.

The estimated cost to demo the old roof and build a new one is $30,000. ESG’s members are contributing all they can to fund the project, but we can’t do it alone. Your support is vital in ensuring the job gets done before it’s too late – and that ESG remains a vibrant community hub.
