Put a smile on local hospital staff's faces
Donation protected
The COVID pandemic has impacted the resources on our local hospital systems including the healthcare workers. As you can imagine, hospital staff around the world are stressed and some are beyond overwhelmed with where we are with Covid-19.
Late last year, a group of friends pooled our money (in lieu of gifts for each other) and were able to provide a nice donation to the Eastern NC Food Bank, as well as individual potted succulents for 120 of the nurses at a local hospital - see the photos below. Subsequently, I learned there actually are about 350 additional nurses who were not part of that initial group who received our gifts which stood as our appreciation for their tremendous service. As well, as the managers/supervisors and support staff were not part of the total number.
I would love to raise approx. $1000.00 to provide 390 potted succulent plants with a “thank you” charm (like the ones below), to show appreciation in the form of a heart-felt gift for each of the nursing staff.
Would you like to participate too?
Thank you in advance for your support in this small token for the remaining nursing staff. If you prefer to send money via PayPal or Venmo (without the fee ), please contact me through this GoFundMe page .
