Project SkooliesForVeterans

Born from the cazy dream of building self contained skoolies to pass on to fellow Veterans, those who need a safe alternative to their current situation.
If anyone has it in their hearts to contribute to this cause, please don't hesitate to ask any questions. We are a transparent situation, nothing is held back. Please and thank you Skoolies For Veterans is a vision that was born out of hopelessness and a compassionate gift crossing paths. A homeless Combat Veteran was gifted a retired school bus. With a little (lot) of help from a small handful of his support circle, the bus has been converted into a rolling home. Combat_Skoolie was brought to life. Poe and his service dog Meesha are home.
Since the beginning, Poe won't stop talking about "The next bus".
"I can't have this, if the next Veteran can't have the same. It must and will be payed forward".
Skoolies for Veterans is his crazy idea of taking a bus, a Veteran in need, and pairing the two together. The Veteran has to put in the elbow grease, the brain strain, instill personal ownership into the project. All the while the build is going on, the Veterans needs are tended to and they are in a safe inviroment away from the fear of what's next. Housed and fed if needed. Taken to the doctor, whatever. Once the build is complete, and the Veteran has satisfied any and all required accomplishments, keys and title go to the vet, and they are now in a position to thrive. That's his crazy vision. Please and thank you for any and all contributions. SFV #endveteranhomelessness #endvetwransuicide #veteran #supportyourlocalveteran #skoolie #skoolienation
