West Alabama Women's Center is no longer able to offer elective abortions, but that doesn't mean we are going ANYWHERE. People in Alabama and beyond deserve safe, non-judgemental sexual health care regardless of the legality of abortion, and we will remain to offer sliding scale and free contraceptives, miscarriage management, annual exams, STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming healthcare and all of the other services that the state of Alabama has held out of reach from low-income and uninsured residents for so long. We are seeking support to ensure any person who wants an IUD can have one whether they have insurance or not. That any person who is pregnant can feel safe to come see a doctor without fear of being investigated by police if their pregnancy is endangered. That those who are pregnant can get prenatal care even if they are uninsured and waiting for Medicaid approval.

We can do all of this with your support - and all of these will be desperately needed as the state of Alabama make every pregnancy a mandatory birth all while denying patients the health care that makes that birth less likely to be a death sentence for that person and that child.

Will you help us reach that goal? $25,000 equals approximately 50 IUDs, or 1000 Depo shots, or 150 annual exams, post-abortion check ups, or prenatal screenings.

We can't have a community care center without community, and we need you now.

Every dollar received by Yellowhammer Fund in this campaign will be provided directly to West Alabama Women's Center. Yellowhammer Fund is the fiscal sponsor for WAWC while it awaits its 501c3 approval.
