Put the walk back into Walker

Hi, My name is Trena Walker

I am loosing the mobility to walk. I am losing my eyesight and have complicated underlying medical issues. I struggle greatly trying to obtain, Any sufficient Medical care and diagnosis.

On 9/25 after 1.5 yrs of struggling and losing mobility daily, it was found that my insurance will not cover a specialized MRI of my hip, as it has been found not “medically necessary” by a 3rd Party review board due to the failure or lack of proper previous medical notes. I am well experienced in the failures of our current Medical System. As I have experienced it over and over again. It’s leaves me feeling hopeless and not a valued member of the same financial brackets of those that get their needs met. Healthcare is a Right not a business. We All need quality medical assistance not based on the ability to pay.

I have the MRI scheduled for 10/12 and my goal is to raise enough funds to have this important test done so that options can be made available to me to move forward.

I have struggled greatly Medically from what I can not provide financially, for myself.

I have served my community well by caring and nurturing and ensuring the Children, I serve are well taken care of.

My Children are now observing me decline visibly day by day. It’s not the lesson I want to show them. I want them to carry through their adventures that Communities support Everyone and its a wonderful way to give back to their Mom/MsTrena and put the “Walker” back in our lives.
