Putting Roy Back Together

At just 8-10 months old this cutie got dealt a tough hand! We aren’t sure what caused the trauma, but our best guess is he was hit by a car. Though this kid must’ve been in excruciating pain when he arrived at the shelter, still bleeding, he showed everyone how much of a gem he is by continuing to wag his tail through it all!!!

Just as we were getting a plan in place for him, he was misdiagnosed with parvo virus. We sent him to the vet where he was hospitalized as a precaution. Thank goodness it was a false positive test, and he was able to get back on the surgery schedule!
