The Giordano Family

The larger-than-life Sal Giordano is in a fight against brain cancer. This past Friday, Sal was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor that calls for an aggressive and immediate treatment approach that will include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Sal’s wonderful wife, Jenn, and their two kids, Phoebe and Felix, have a long road ahead of them and need our collective support.

Sal embraces life. He brings joy to countless kids each year through his teaching career at Albemarle High School, bringing his unique passion and expertise to the history and theater department. Sal believes in service, the arts and love. We have all seen him act on these beliefs day after day. We are asking that you help Sal’s family by contributing to this GoFundMe.

This is a special family indeed; Jenn is also an educator and has dedicated her life to growing our youth confident and strong at Charlottesville Day School. Their service to our community is so valued and we hope to share our appreciation through these efforts.

For all of his 52 years, Sal Giordano has stood up for the things he believes in, and most importantly, the people he loves. Now it’s our turn.
