In honor of our dear friend, Alicia Buisst, we'd like to celebrate her wonderful spirit by donating a memorial bench at Kensington Metro Park (Milford, MI) in her name.
Alicia lost her fierce battle with blood cancer but her spirit will always ROAR on. Alicia loved Kensington, and spent many hours logging miles with the 501 running club and with Team in Training. She loved running and biking with friends, telling stories, and encouraging EVERYONE to keep going.
What better way to honor and remember our dear Alicia than seeing her name every time we walk, run, or ride by her bench.
The cost of a bench is $5,000, which we hope to raise through this Go Fund Me campaign. Any money collected over the $5,000 will be donated directly to LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) in Alicia's name.
