The Paloma Valley High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) is requesting your assistance to generate much needed support for our program. Currently we are at 175 cadets and as our program continues to grow, we are realizing that the many benefits and activities this program has to offer require much needed financial help obtaining equipment and transportation to participate.
Your support will benefit all cadets by helping to offset costs for drill equipment, travel, meals and entry fees related to local, state, and national competitions, unit field trips to military and other STEM related installations, leadership programs, our military ball, and other team specific needs. In addition to in-class academic curriculum that focuses on citizenship, government, history, and science, we conduct weekly physical fitness training, drills, marching, and uniform inspections. Our program represents our school by supporting community service events such as city clean ups, festivals, ceremonies, parades, and color guard events. Our teams compete in academic, athletic, Cyber Patriot, drill, orienteering, and public speaking competitive meets throughout Southern California and Arizona. With over 600 NJROTC programs in the Nation, we finished last school year as 2nd in the State and 5th in the Nation. We are proud to represent our school and city.
As a Leadership and Character Development program, we feel that the experiences gained through participation in NJROTC will assist our cadets to succeed in future endeavors, and provides them with the tools necessary for successfully overcoming life challenges. By supporting the program, you can be confident that you are investing in the future of America. Our cadets possess the qualities that past generations can relate to, and long to see in today’s youth. You can be assured that these cadets are the best of the best! Your donation contributes to the continued success of this invaluable program.
