Simba’s surgery and medical costs

I've had my dog Simba for 7 years. Through my best and my worst moments he was always there. He never asked for anything in return, he just loved unconditionally.

On Monday, 10/12/20, we went to Silver Lake Reservoir dog park and unfortunately he was attacked and bitten by a larger dog multiple times. I managed to separate them and Simba was taken to the Emergency Room immediately. Once he was there, he underwent surgery because there was significant damage inside of him. His Spleen was punctured and there was hemorrhaging under his skin, his abdomen was detached, 2 ribs were fractured, and multiple muscles were torn. He is currently in critical care and is expected to remain there for a few days post-surgery because he could experience complications from the surgery or the trauma from the bites.

I am a low income, full-time student with a part-time job and have been barely managing to pay my own bills alone. The medical bills amounted to over $7000 and right now I am looking for any help I can possibly get from anybody out there that is willing to help. I am looking at multiple options to be able to pay this off but right now it is impossible to pay out of pocket.

I just want to save my bestfriend because more than anything I just want him by my side again. Any amount of contributions would be so helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you for your prayers.
