Once upon a time, a metal soul named Daniel found himself caught in a whirlwind of symptoms that had been gradually creeping into his life over the past few years. Daniel had hoped for a simple repair to mend his ailing heart, but the medical gods had other plans. With a touch of fate and a team of skilled surgeons, they decided to gift him a brand-new metal heart valve - an unexpected twist to his story.

Throughout the rollercoaster of emotions, Daniel remained a trouper, facing each hurdle with courage and his signature sense of humor. But, as he donned the hospital gown, preparing for surgery, there was one sacrifice he had to make - his beloved ginger fluff, shaved off with a bittersweet farewell.

Worry filled the hearts of those who cared for him, as energy loss and memory problems persisted. Yet, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Daniel soldiered on, not only managing but excelling at work with remarkable determination and brining lots of fun Hodads stories home every day.

Throughout it all, Daniel remained adamant about not wanting to burden others. His brave heart was fierce, but some have requested a way to lend a helping hand towards the bionic upgrade which has led me to create this on his behalf!
