Help me help John

Hello my name is Sam and I hope we can come together and help a good freind. I have known John Stepien for more than 25 years. He has been a great freind to many people with his generosity and kind words. John has himself been a charitable person helping kids through the Elks BPOE 2119. Along with countless charity motorcycle events and the Victory Juntion camp for kids.

Now John needs our help.

Unfortunately John has been through unfathomable hardships. The loss of his Wife Jane to cancer and his own struggles with knee replacement complications. He has had 13 surgeries on one leg with four total knee replacements. He has endured two prostetic knee infections and two units loosening up. John's bones were very compromised from all of these procedures. Causing major pain and immobility.

The fourth knee failed and the surgeons has no choice but amputate John's leg above the knee. He has been working with a prostetic team in setting up a prostetic leg. This involves fitting, tuning and mant physical therepy sessions. He spends 75 percent of time in a wheelchair while learning to use his prostetic limb.

Janes cancer and John's medical bills have been astronomical. The prostetics were upward of 90k. Medicare is only 80 percent coverage. His savings have been depleted. This along with day to day expenses have gone up.

He has been turned down for disability as a loss of a leg does not qualify.

John gets only social security. It's just not enough to get out of the financial hole. Social services stated his social security is 150 dollars above their threshold so he dose not qualify.

He is desperately trying to save his home.
