Support for the Rohrer Family

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the passing of Don Rohrer. Don lost his short, yet tireless fight with Covid on November 27 at the age of 50, leaving his beloved wife Mique, and cherished children Emilee, Eric and Ally, along with countless friends and family devastated and heartbroken.

 

To know Don was to love him. His mere physical presence was commanding, but it was his equally paramount personality, kind heart, and smart-aleck delivery that filled a room, captured your attention, and solidified your fondness for such a gentle giant. A friend to all, Don was adored by everyone lucky enough to cross his path.

 

To know Don was to experience his unconditional love for and dedication to his family. Don and Mique recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and have built a beautiful life together enveloped by their most precious gifts – Emilee, Eric and Ally. It goes without saying that Don shared a special relationship with each of his children and proudly served as their number one fan in all their endeavors from school to sports. His love for baseball (and his 100s of hats, literally and figuratively) offered him various positions throughout the years from coaching Little League to serving as high school booster president. Equally, his knowledge of and excitement for volleyball was palpable.

 

To know Don was to respect him, including in his career where he was admired for his unique skill set and success as an accomplished technology professional in the media and entertainment industry. Like in all aspects of his life, Don’s positive attitude, leadership, and work ethic made him a respected coach and mentor to many.

 

To know Don was to appreciate him as a humble man – never one to ask, but always willing to give, as he did so very often. Now, it is our turn. During this unimaginable time of need, please support Mique as she finds her way through an unexpected sea of medical bills and funeral expenses while doing her best to navigate life without her partner, best friend, and father of her children.
