MASON UPDATE.... Last night Mason pulled one of his "watch me hold my breath" tricks and scared the heck out of the ICU tean when he desated to 16%!!! Yes it was real abd yes he was purple. Mason does this from time to time at home as well, so not a big deal for us since he recovers after about 60 seconds. The ICU tram was not impressed with his little trick‍♀️. Labs this morning still show that his electrolytes are still out of whack but moving in the right direction, VERY SLOWLY. He is still in alkalosis but the process to normalize him is going to take some time. Mason hasn't been responsive in 7 days and this morning he blessed me with those "big poopy brown eyes" of his. He watched a little Spongebob and then fell back asleep. He needs his rest to heal. Love you sweet boy❤️❤️ Those who are asking what can they do to help, what do we need? As we continue on this journey new needs are always popping up.
