Memorial Fund for Emile Pogue

Dear friends and family,

It deeply pains me to write this, but I am starting this page to inform you all of  the unfortunate passing of our beloved, Emile Pogue. Emile passed away tragically on January 17, 2022, at the hands of gun violence from his stepson.

On January 17, 2022, which seemed like an ordinary day, turned into the worst day of our entire family”s lives. Emile was at home watching television when he was suddenly gunned down by his stepson. Our family is crushed with so many unanswered questions to why this tradegy occured and now we are left to face it head-on with nothing but sweet memories. 

At this time, we are asking for donations to bring Emile back home to New Orleans where we can give him a proper burial and funeral surrounded by his family and friends. Thank you in advance for your donations and for keeping the Pogue family in your prayers. This is the only active fundraiser for Emile’s funeral expenses.
