Help Rodriguez Family Rebuild After Altadena Home Loss
Donation protected
The Rodriguez Family tragically lost their home in Altadena to the Eaton Canyon fire.

Luis , who adopted his nieces Sophia and Savahna in June 2021, is now working to rebuild their lives after this devastating loss.
Savahna, a recent graduate of John Muir High School, is heartbroken to lose the home she loved so much. She cherished living in Altadena, where her favorite hobby was hiking near Loma Alta Park and volunteering at OBA, Inc., a nonprofit nature organization.

Sophia started her journey in Altadena attending Alma Fuerte Elementary. Though her school eventually moved to another campus and became Odyssey South Charter, Sophia adapted and made wonderful memories there. Losing her home now has been another difficult chapter, but she remains hopeful for the future.

The family’s two beloved German Shepherds, who are incredible support animals for the girls, were at home during the fire but thankfully made it out safely.

We are deeply grateful that we evacuated before the fire consumed our home and remain optimistic about what’s ahead. With your help, we can start anew and rebuild the life we cherished in this wonderful community.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
