Support Wendy's Fight Against Liver Cancer

Our dear and wonderful friend Wendy Tang Fong has been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile ducts and liver. This is an aggressive cancer that will require equally aggressive treatment in the coming months. Please help us do everything possible to support Wendy, her husband Jonathan, and their three amazing children during this immensely challenging time.

For those who know Wendy, you know she is a pillar of strength, humor, and compassion. For those who don't, you should know that she is a doting mom who gave her kids a stellar education in their San Francisco home; a brilliant teacher who had just started back at a new school until illness struck only a few weeks in; a loving wife to her husband Jonathan, who's also a teacher; a faithful Christian who finds love and support with her church family; a caring sister, a kind neighbor, and the funniest and most supportive friend imaginable.

All who love Wendy are devastated by this sudden diagnosis, and the only way to cope with the pain and unfairness of a situation like this is with hope and action. The money raised here will support Wendy and her family with items such as unexpected medical expenses, transportation to and from the hospital, allergy-friendly meals, child care, laundry service, chemotherapy tools, and more. I frankly have no idea how to put a price on those needs, especially as we are learning more day by day about the road ahead, so please know we may adjust the target as we go.
