UWEC Men's Hockey Club

We are the UWEC Men's Hockey Club, and we are a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Western Collegiate Club Hockey Association (WCCHA).  We play against other schools all over the mid-west at the Division II club level. Our mission is to provide our members the opportunity to continue playing competitive hockey at the collegiate level and to give back to the Eau Claire hockey community.  We pride ourselves on being one of the more affordable teams in the league, and are seeking to keep costs down for the team next year. By keeping the costs down we have a better chance of being more inclusive for those who may struggle with the cost. The largest expense that we have each year is ice time. We practice twice a week, and receive ice time at a rate of 175/hour.
We continue to progress as one of the more successful teams in our division and region. Our ultimate goal is making it to the regional tournament as well as nationals. This year we have competed against schools such as Marian University, Trine University, and Adrian University. These three well known teams have competed for the top spot in our region. Traveling far distances to play these teams comes at a high cost. We hope to continue building the successful stature that is UWEC Mens Hockey Club. Your gift would go towards our ice bills that we receive at the beginning of the season, bus trips, and ultimately supporting our success throughout the season.
