Recently I have been making tie blankets to give as christmas gifts this season but then I thought about those who are really in need of a warm blanket. So I am starting a fundraiser to provide the homeless with blankets and other supplies this cold winter (such as hats, gloves, scarves, body wipes, etc.). 44% of the nations homeless are unsheltered, putting them at high risk for hypothermia. Hypothermia remains a leading, critical and preventable, cause of injury and death among those who are suffering from homelessness. It costs just $10 to provide someone with a bag of supplies to help them this winter and just $12 to give them a unique blanket of their own. My goal is to make 100 supply bags and any donation will help!!
