Support Jessica's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jessica, and I never imagined I’d be sharing something like this — but on April 8th, my life changed forever.
I was the victim of a tragic and completely unexpected accident. I was accidentally shot in the face. In one split second, my world was turned upside down. The bullet caused devastating injuries — shattering bones, damaging tissue, and leaving me facing a long and painful road to recovery. I’ve already undergone 3 surgeries, with many more possible ahead. The trauma from the incident isn’t just physical — it’s emotional and financial too.
I’ve always tried to be strong, to be independent, and to take care of myself and those around me. But this situation has left me vulnerable. I’ve been unable to work since the accident. I’m facing massive medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, physical therapy, and the basic expenses of day-to-day life — all without the ability to bring in an income.
I’m reaching out now with hope in my heart and asking for your help.
Your support — whether it’s $5 or $50 — will go directly toward:
• Medical bills and surgeries
• Medication and supplies
• Therapy and rehabilitation
• Transportation to and from medical appointments
• Basic living expenses while I recover
Every donation, no matter the size, truly means the world to me. And even if you can’t donate, just sharing this page helps more than you know. It’s hard to ask for help like this, but I believe in the kindness of people, and I’m holding onto hope that I won’t have to go through this alone.
I’m still here — and I’m thankful every day that I survived. But healing takes time, and I can’t do it without support.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for anything you’re able to give.
With love and gratitude,
Jessica
