Hi. My name is Victoria Roos-Markham. My little sister, Jennifer Roos is an education major at Eastern Connecticut State University.

While on break, Jennifer had a horrible, freak, life changing accident. She was visiting friends in Brooklyn. As is common in Brooklyn, they were hanging out out on the roof. Somehow, Jen stumbled and fell 3 stories, sustaining multiple, serious injuries.

She suffered a fractured spine, dislocation of both ankles, shattered both feet and heels, suffered a punctured lung due to broken ribs, among other injuries.

Needless to say, this is a life altering tragedy for both Jen and her family. Jen is looking at numerous further surgeries and will have a long recovery ahead. Her parents are both public school teachers, looking at the loss of at least one income.

We are kindly asking for donations to support Jen’s recovery- medical bills, equipment and environmental
