In Loving memory of Missionary Nakia M. Bird

On the morning of January 22, 2023 Nakia transitioned very unexpectedly. In shock and devastation, the family of Nakia is asking for help in burying their mother the proper way. Nakia had the kind of smile and mannerism about her that could brighten a room and make anyone feel welcome, even under tense circumstances. Her dedication and devotion to her children, family, and church family was unwavering. As the sole provider for her family, Nakia’s passing has left her family not only empty physically and emotionally, but financially as well. This is a worry that no family should have to endure during this difficult time. We hope this fund will aid and support them during this traumatic time of transition. Funds raised will be used for the planning of the homegoing celebration, and for related expenses or as needed by her family—and for financial support for her 7yr old daughter.
