Surgery bills & cc debt

The short version:

I was sick for the latter half of 2022, which drained my finances. At the end of May 2023, I slipped and fell and broke my arm. A stupid accident. I needed surgery to bolt the bone back together. Between debt, bills, and everything else, I need help.

What will the money be used for?

Funds will be used to pay for rent, groceries, credit card bills, any further surgery costs, and ideally to pay down my massive debt.

Why so high a goal?

The high goal is to pay off my outstanding debt, but at this point anything will help.

What happened? Aka the longer version:

I ended up getting sick in the latter half of 2022, and spent 3 months throwing up multiple times a day and months after that feeling nauseous all the time. I spent a lot of time bedridden, and things started to get out of hand with my credit card debt.

That situation continued into this year, when I was finally starting to feel better and was working on getting my life back together.

Until I slipped and fell and broke my arm.

Just a stupid accident, the kind of thing that can happen to anyone. I didn't even get a good story out of it.

Between the medical costs, bills, and expenses of last year and this year, my credit card debt ran away from me. I've had to cash out my passive income sources to cover the various bills, but it wasn't enough. I'm paying $500 a month just on credit card interest. If I could pay down my debt and get funds for a few months of living expenses, then I could get back on my feet and get my life back in order.

Who am I?

Brian Ski, aka Beeskee, BrianSkee, and BrianSki. I've been involved in various online communities, some for years, including streaming and posting videos on Youtube and Twitch, and I was the original host of Beestation. (Still going strong! ♥ So proud of you all!)

What else am I doing other than asking for money?

I've been jobhunting for remote jobs, and trying to get a loan. Sadly there isn't much work in the local area, and regarding a loan most places seem more interested in what they can get from me rather than helping me get out of the situation and back on my feet.

I know times are tough for everyone, especially with everything that is going on in the world right now. I also realize that there's a lot of scams going on right now because of that, so please feel free to drop in on my Twitch streams and say hi and confirm that I'm a real person. :)
