Ret. Sgt. Joe Boren Stroke Fund

Donation protected
On March 24, 2015, Joe Boren had a stroke in the frontal lobe, temporal lobe, and occipital lobe portions of his brain resulting in paralysis of his left arm, leg, hearing, cheek (affecting speech), severely affected vision in his right and left eye drastically. He is currently in rehabilitation at BSA in Amarillo, Texas for four to six weeks but will need many adaptive aids not covered by his current insurance after release adding a financial strain. The money raised will be used for the purchase of these adaptive aids, cost of renovations on his home so he may safely return home instead of being in a 24 hour care inpatient unit for around the clock care, and to assist with transportation to and from medical appointments.

Please donate to the man who served this community for almost 30 years as a police officer and has continued to remain active in the community following retirement.
