Support Laura's Fight Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
My name is Cynthia and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister Laura, an unwavering 30-year-old woman currently battling breast cancer. She has always been a source of strength and positivity for those around her, but now Laura really needs your help.
Laura’s journey first started when she noticed a lump under her right armpit. Shortly after, she felt a hard lump on her right breast. Laura was confused so she consulted her coworkers. They seemed worried and advised her to seek medical attention immediately. In late March 2024, the doctor examined her and stated that it was highly suspicious. Laura was referred to get a biopsy, ultrasound, and mammogram. In early May 2024, after numerous tests (including CT scans, mammograms, ultrasound, x-rays, biopsies, EKGs, MRIs, and more), it was confirmed that she had an aggressive type of breast cancer. The doctor recommended starting chemotherapy immediately to shrink the tumor. Since this cancer is an aggressive type, there is a high risk of it spreading to the brain and heart. Starting chemotherapy as soon as possible would be beneficial, as her doctor explained. In early May, my sister started chemotherapy and that’s only the beginning of this challenging journey.
Laura’s dream was to become a veterinary technician. Due to Laura’s ongoing chemotherapy treatments, she was forced to drop out of veterinary technician school and amassed a significant amount of debt. Furthermore, she is on disability leave from work but she hasn’t received any payments thus far. We are abiding by her doctor’s order to refrain from stress due to school and work.
We are organizing a fundraiser to help cover Laura's ongoing medical expenses, which includes: chemotherapy, hospital bills, rent, utilities, and other essential costs. Every contribution, regardless of its size, will alleviate the financial burden on Laura and our family, enabling us to concentrate on giving her the support she needs during this challenging time. Your support means the world to Laura and her loved ones and will provide them with the much needed relief during this difficult and unfortunate journey.
Asking for help is never easy. Laura, our family, and friends have always been there to support her through every challenge. However, the reality is that we cannot fight this battle alone. We believe that coming together as a community can make a significant difference in our lives. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with others.
If you have any questions or need more information, please reach out via email. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and kindness.
With gratitude,
Cynthia Cun and Family
