Jessica's Fight Against Lymphoma
Donation protected
My 10 year old little sister, Jessica, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in December of 2022 after a procedure was done to remove her tonsils. She is a very bright, caring individual, and the most well behaved kid I know.
Jessica has gone through so much in the past month and a half. Her first chemotherapy was in January and she is on her second round to be completed early February at Nemour's Children Hospital in Delaware. Two more rounds are scheduled in the coming months. Jessica has had to endure losing her hair, not being able to see her friends at school, losing taste in food, making eating difficult at times, and has been battling insomnia at night. Despite all of this she keeps a positive attitude and displays a strong desire to learn about her condition.
On top of everything going on, Jessica has had to relocate as the conditions of her old home are not ideal for her health while she is immunosupressed. She is currently living with her grandparents until they transition to their new home at the end of February unfortunately, much of their belongings including furniture, clothes, and toys will not be taken with them.
Jessica has shown tremendous courage and remains selfless during these difficult times, never asking for anything besides some "flavorful food" and always looks out for her family and friends. Any money raised will be used to provide Jessica with a new wardrobe, toys, furnishings for her new room/home, and help her parents mitigate medical expenses. More importantly, we want our little angel to be happy and smiling again as she continues on her road to recovery.
