HMAA in remembrance of Irene Krisztinicz, MD

Dr. Irene Levay-Krisztinicz was a graduate of the University of Debrecen Medical School. She was a retired radiologist, who was primarily in private practice, but also a past Associate Professor at the State University of Buffalo. Dr. Krisztinicz was instrumental in her work with the HMAA over 4 decades serving in various roles, especially as Treasurer and Past President. She and her husband, Dr. Ivan Krisztinicz were pioneers in founding our current Student Exchange program. Most recently, she served on the Advisory Council of the Association and a Co-Director of the Student Exchange Program. She is survived by her beloved son Tom Krizstinicz, his wife Treacy, along with their two children Nicole and Tommy. Any donations will go towards the continuation of the Student Exchange Program.
