A cause I care about needs help

Tax deductible
For the past 68 years, the Carmelite Nuns have been an integral part of the Salt Lake community. And since then, their beloved Carmelite Fair has brought us all together with refreshments, games and more; while also serving as a fundraiser supporting the Nuns in their life of contemplative prayer for the Church and world.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Carmelite Nuns have made the difficult decision to cancel the fair in order to prioritize the health and safety of the public. This is unfortunate for our community who eagerly look forward to the fun event each year; however, it is even more devastating to the Nuns who rely on the fundraiser as their main means of support for the maintenance of the monastery, medical expenses, house expenses, chaplaincy, and most importantly, to allow their continued vocation of life in prayer.

This fundraiser has been created to help the Carmelite Nuns recover from the loss of the funds that would have been raised through their annual Fair. They have dedicated their lives to loving and praying for each of us, and now they need our help to continue their mission. Please give what you can, every dollar makes a difference. You can also support them by purchasing their delicious jams, candies, and other goods directly through their website https://www.carmelslc.org/. And mark your calendars for September 2021 when the Fair will again take place at their monastery in Holladay.
