Beyond any financial gifts, please be in prayer for Chris and Michelle as Chris was recently diagnosed with incurable melenoma cancer. Chris and Michelle have been married for 15 years, and have three wonderful children who are 12, 10, and 8. This account is intended for their medical bills, their living expenses, as well as the needs of their family in the days ahead.
Chris has approached his cancer as he has approached his life - going through each day for God's glory. He and Michelle have blessed and challenged scores of believers through their faithfulness in the midst of their pain.
Chris and Michelle have faithfully served as unsung heros of the faith as Chris has pastored two small works (one in eastern Idaho and one in Tempe, AZ). They did not serve for the fame. They faithfully served to no accolades, had no book deals, often cleaning toilets, driving senior saints to doctor appointments, caring for the poor, receiving countless missionaries and strangers into their home, encouraging those who were weak in their faith, fighting off the attack of grievous wolves and defending the flock with truth and love, sharing the Gospel with their community, all while preaching faithfully and leading the small flock towards faithful obedience and love for their King, and all while rearing up three wonderful children...and in everything they did it all for the praise and glory of Jesus.
By God's grace, Chris and Michelle do have insurance and are not currently in dire straights financially. However, this is an opportunity to bless them and their family as expenses will accumulate quickly.
