Theresa was recently diagnosed with an aggressive ductile breast cancer. She is a wife, to her amazing and God fearing husband John, a mother to 3 beautiful daughters, and recently became a proud grandmother.
She is an incredible OR nurse who has worked as a travel nurse for the past 4 years helping hospitals with staffing shortages. She is known for her excellent bedside manner, loving heart for her patients, and others focused mentality.
Theresa has always been the first person to offer prayer and encouragement to anyone who needs it whether she has met you or not. She has a positive attitude and always find reasons to praise God even in the midst of the toughest of circumstances.
Recently, her husband was laid off from work and her temporary contract expired with travel. They are both in the process of finding something new but Theresa is in for the fight for her life. She is going to need surgery, chemo, and potentially radiation. She plans to work through her treatments as soon as she recovers from her surgery but has expensive COBRA premiums, copays, and deductibles. She is required to pay some of this up front and they are trusting it will all fall into place.
I have never met a more optimistic and strong person. I am asking that we rally around this woman who has literally dedicated her life to taking care of others and we can show her that she is taken care of as well!
