Suzanne's Car Repair Help
Donation protected
Everyone goes through hard times, and this is one for me. Less than two weeks after my car underwent $300 in repairs, my engine is blown. It happened late at night while driving on the KS Turnpike, a remote part of I-70 where the speed limit is 75.
I work 4 jobs to try to make ends meet. My car is 13+ years old, and was bought used through a generous loan from my church (which I repaid fully). I recently had surgery so some of my work hours have been limited which directly affects my income. On top of that, I am swamped with student loan payments and the medical bills.
I largely don't know what else to do. My parents are both retired and disabled, and often struggle to make their own ends meet. Without a car, I can't work at all. But, I am in no place to be able to purchase another car or replace my engine on my own.
I am NOT one who normally asks for help. I am fiercely independent, but I know this is more than I can handle. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Even $5 or $10 will go a very long way.
God old bless you.
