Jared Barber needs our help

Jared Barber is a 16 year Lindenhurst Bulldog who is in the fight of his life. Jared had been diagnosed with diabetes from the time he was a baby. He battled the disease courageously alongside his brothers and parents. He has been in and out of hospitals and doctor’s offices throughout his life and handled them all with ease. In the past few months though Jared was hospitalized after suffering a cardiac arrest. Due to this Jared was on a ventilator and has suffered major setbacks. He is now up, cognizat, and begins his long fight back. He will need to learn many things over again and retrain his body. Jared will need extensive physical therapy to regain functions many take for granted. During this time, in midst of a global pandemic, his family has stayed at his side. We are looking to help the family with the mounting medical and therapy bills. Jared’s parents, Joe and Katie, have given so much to the Lindenhurst community and we need to be able to give back to them. It’s what we do in Lindy. No one fights alone.
