Rico has been our best friend for a very long time.
Rico has been a part of our home after we adopted him many years ago. Rico is a huge part of our family, and has been a tremendous part of our experience with friends. Whenever people visit our home, Rico is there. He wants to hold you hug you kiss you and make you his best friend. Many of you spent days hogging the little guy while out of town or away from your own family. Right now all those who have enjoyed Rico is love in someway could really use their help.
Unfortunately as dogs get older their health Begins to deteriorate just like all of us. We’ve been very very lucky that Rico has not had any major issues however at 13 years of age he’s really hit a bad spot.
Rico has been hospitalized for pancreatitis which is causing his gallbladder to fail. While we typically are able to spend on these type of things without any problem, we just recently got hit with our tax bill which is wiped out A lot of our savings. We’ve never asked from anybody for anything when it comes to money, but we could really use a little bit of help right now so that we don’t get in a position that we simply can’t afford his treatment.
Betsy and I will ensure that all bills are accounted for and Will be public as we don’t want anyone to think that we are taking advantage of their kind nature
