Help for Scottie

This is my son Scottie, we had to go get him from the hospital in San Fransisco, CA where he had been since June 27th. He was released on Aug 12th. Thanks to some generous donors we were able to rent a van to go get him ( from North Carolina ), I also had to use all of my savings ( which is ok ) and my mom maxed out all her credit cards, it was an expensive trip but it had to be done. Scottie is not out of the woods, he has a long road to recovery and several doctors he'll need to see. He was found in a stairwell unconscious from a drug overdose with a very faint pulse .. he almost died. Because of lack of oxygen to his brain and the traumatic brain injury he suffered from a hit and run 3 years ago he has lost the ability to preform simple tasks for himself. Scottie was a musical genius and now he can't even play guitar anymore and that is just heartbreaking because he lived and breathed his music. Scottie stills needs help, we're trying to get him approved for SSI and Medicaid to help pay for his living and medical expenses but it can take awhile, he has no clothes except what we bought him on the trip out to get him, everything he owned was stolen, he also needs a hospital bed and a few other things to make the house handicap accessible, he has trouble keeping his balance and falls a lot. On top of all of that we have no way of paying for his doctor visits or meds until he gets Medicaid. I really hate begging people for help but for my son I will .. if anyone can spare just a little it would be a great help and truly appreciated .... Scottie has an appt with the family doctor on Aug 26 to get referrals for all the other doctors he'll need to see, I'll be posting updates on that. Thank you very much
