Please help Amy

Hi my name is Tonya we have a fur baby named Amy who we rescued from the SPCA a year ago she is around 1 1/2 years old . Amy is very loving and playful she is my shadow and knows our family’s routine and loves to be around us . This morning we noticed Amy did not come sleep with her paws around my face which she always does since we got her . I assumed she had a crazy night chasing her brother Jet and was just sleepy cause she was resting on her heating pad . Around 10:00 am I noticed she still had not moved . I tried to get her to move and she would not . Amy then stood up and fell down (with a screeching cry for help), she tried to walk but her back right foot was in the air . I immediately knew something was wrong . We took her to the vet ( I couldn’t stay with her ) they called and told me she fractured her tibia and fibula . They gave us a few options but with the economy we cannot afford the best route for her which would be orthopedic and metals put in. Right now she is scheduled tomorrow morning for a splint they are concerned it may not work but understand coming up with the money for orthopedic surgery is not possible, if the splint does not work we would then need to pay for amputation of her leg. For now we are asking for anyone for help as she will get the splint tomorrow along with pain meds and will have to visit the vet next week and every two weeks after for 8 weeks . Jace (our son) is having a hard time understanding why he can’t chase her and play sonic with her but we are doing our best. Please help with any amount possible so we can ensure she can get what she needs tomorrow and for her recovery .
