Help Duke Get the Surgery He Needs

Hello everyone,

I am writing to you today to seek support for my family dog, Duke. I want to be able to alleviate as much financial burden as much as possible that this will be for my family during this tough time.

Duke has recently received unfortunate news and requires knee surgery to repair his torn ACL and meniscus. Unfortunately, Duke also has a heart murmur, which will add to the expense of his injury. An echocardiogram, which ranges from $800-$1,000, is necessary to see if Duke is able to withstand the anesthesia required for the surgery. Following the echocardiogram, Duke will need knee surgery to repair his torn ACL and meniscus, which can cost anywhere from $2,500-$6,000.

These expenses are a significant strain on our family, as Duke is in pain and the surgery is costly, including physical therapy and medication costs. Duke especially holds a very special place in my mother’s heart, as he was by her side and my grandmothers side throughout my grandmother’s pancreatic cancer journey. To my mother, Duke is the last connection to her mother, making him especially cherished.
