Jenan’s dream to become a doctor
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I'm Jenan Bakroun, a 19-year-old, reaching out to you from Gaza. Currently, I am facing significant challenges in pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor due to the destructive impact of war and the destruction of universities here in Gaza.
The situation in Gaza has made it nearly impossible for me to continue my education locally. The damage to the infrastructure has severely limited educational opportunities, leaving me with few options to pursue my studies in medicine.
Despite these obstacles, I am determined to continue my education and make a positive impact on the world. However, I need your help to make this dream a reality.
I am reaching out to ask for your support in funding my medical education outside Gaza. With your generous donations, I will be able to enroll in a reputable medical school and receive the education and training I need to become a qualified doctor.
Your contribution will not only help me achieve my dream but will also enable me to give back to my community and provide much-needed medical assistance to those in need, especially in conflict-affected areas like Gaza.
This is my high school diploma, and I achieved a 96.6% average in the scientific branch. I've worked tirelessly to attain a grade that qualifies me for the field of human medicine, aiming to fulfill my childhood dream.
This is our humble home that my father worked tirelessly to make the best it could be. However, due to the war, it was destroyed and burned, and it may have been bombed by now, but we have no information about it because we have been displaced to the southern part of the region.
In the aftermath of war, our reality is grim, relying on primitive modes of transportation like camels, and finding solace in cooking over open fires. Amidst this wreckage, the specter of destruction looms, reminding us of what we've lost and the lingering despair that surrounds us
Before the war, my university brimmed with aspirations and dreams, as I aimed to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a doctor to alleviate people's suffering. However, after the war, amidst a city ravaged by conflicts, I find myself trapped in despair, grappling with the grim consequences of violence. Yet, hope still dances on the edges of despair, a reminder of the future where I can still offer my services and heal the wounds of others.
As we progress, please be aware that my cousin, Sami Bakroon, will kindly take charge of managing the funds. He will initiate the evacuation process using the resources we have gathered. We are grateful for your understanding and ongoing support in this endeavor.
Sami, being in Germany, can receive money because GoFundMe only supports bank transfers to 19 countries, including Germany
No donation is too small, and every dollar counts. Together, we can make a difference and help me overcome the barriers to education imposed by the conflict in Gaza.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
