Angie Anders Memorial Fund

My name is Misty, and I am the sister of Angie Colleen Anders. She was a shining star who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a vibrant, creative, and loving woman with an unforgettable boisterous laugh and dazzling smile.

This beloved mother, sister, and friend devoted her life to helping others through her work in Mentorship and Social Service.She had been the Vice President of the Oasis foundation in Florida, and participated in an AIDs walk alongside Johnny Knoxville in California. She was the Volunteer Coordinator with Okaloosa AIDS Support and Informational Services, a Family Advocate at The Providence House emergency shelter, Administrative Coordinator for T.E.A.M.S Training, Education, and Mediation for Students, advocating for students with special learning needs, and Office Manager at the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana.

In 2019 she opened Kai Long Martial Arts & Boxing School and created a scholarship to help children who were unable to attend to due finances. She was truly passionate about giving opportunities for training and self-defense courses to the local youth. She participated in many fundraisers within the community.

Angie's beautiful life was tragically cut short early friday April 15th, by an act of senseless violence. She has left behind two beautiful daughters, Coco S. Edwards and Jessica C. Johnson. She was met in heaven by her mother Carla Lindsay, her father Mike Anders, and son Evan Micheal Prince who went to be with the lord on June 16, 2015. Due to this being a criminal act against her, this may be a very lengthy and costly process. We humbly ask for aid to properly celebrate her life and lay her to rest in the way she deserves. We are so very grateful for any donations, prayer intention, and word of support during this time. Angie will always be a true angel and she will be missed by many.
