The Will of God

My name is Morrell, many of you may know my father William Robinson. Some may know him as just Bill, but to me its just dad.

I don't even know where to begin. This man is a walking definition of a family man. He does nothing but give his blood, sweat and tears to provide for his family. He gets up every morning to go to a labor intensive job and came home everyday with smile on his face, happy to see the faces of his family.
Even through his smile I could see the pain he hid from us. Sore from long hours on the job and dealing with back pain that had gotten so severe he was planning to have surgery on it. Not once did he ever complain because all that mattered to him was that his family was taken care of. He walked through life with such grace and compassion, speaking to everyone that walked by him. Just to say hello or to just wish them a blessed day even though many never said anything back he continued trying to brighten everyone's day. He was so selfless, always lending a hand to anyone that needed it and spreading the word of God to any who would listen. He is everything I strive to be, but if you asked him he wanted me to be better. Honestly there can be no one better than him.

On Sept 15th a semi truck hit him coming home from work on US 30. He is suffering from a broken pelvis, ribs and had damaged his aorta artery, which he could have bled out from had it been any worse. Only by the will of God did he make it through the ordeal alive.

He received two surgeries in the last few days. One to repair the artery and the other to fix his pelvis by placing screws in 3 separate dislocations. As for the ribs he can do nothing but bare the pain while it heals. After all that it will still be at least 3 months before he is able to walk again. Even with everything going on with him, the only thing he cared about was telling us that he loved us. This man has done everything he can to take care of us now its my turn to take the reign and lead in a way that would make him proud. I can't do this on my own though. One thing he has taught me is that I don't have to bear my burdens alone, to ask for help when needed and right now that's what me and my family need. We thank those that have reached out and hope you continue to pray for him and our family through this difficult time. We would definitely appreciate anything you can donate to assist with bills in the home and care that he would need when he comes home.
