To know Phil Orsini is to love him. Dubbed "the mayor" by his family, Phil is a collector of people, experiences, excessive amounts of sports equipment and hobbies. The most genuine person you will ever meet, Phil has enthusiastically embraced his many roles (girl Dad, friend, coach, and teacher to name a few) and has lived his life fearlessly and passionately, often on the open water at sunrise in his kayak.

For the last year, Phil has been courageously battling grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), a devastating brain cancer. Following a successful surgery at Morristown Medical Center in May 2023, Phil underwent 9 months of treatments. From the day of his diagnosis, Phil has been determined to fight this disease and maximize his time doing the things he loves with the people he loves. With the most admirable positivity during the past year, he coached youth softball and basketball, fished, golfed, spent time at the beach, went to concerts, performed in punk rock karaoke and most importantly, spent quality time with his wife, Jill, and his two daughters, Lena (13) and Amelia (9).

Unfortunately, in March 2024 just after Phil turned 44, his condition worsened and several weeks ago, he was moved to a palliative care facility close to home. He's comfortable and his family and close friends have been able to visit him often.

Some good friends of Phil's through a few of his many social networks have coordinated this GoFundMe effort to assist the Orsini family during this challenging time. Our goal is to allow his family to spend as much time with Phil as possible and to remove any financial burden that this challenging situation has brought upon.

All funds raised through this campaign will go to Phil's wife, Jill and family to help with any short term and long term financial needs from this situation.
