In memory of Jim

As Jim's friends, we're hosting this fundraiser to help us remember Jim. He touched all of our lives in various ways, and we will always cherish our memories of his kindness, humor and strength. Funds raised will go to future educational expenses and savings for his children.

If you are able to make it to Seattle next Wednesday, July 31, details for his Celebration of Life service are here. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to this fund, or making a donation in memory of Jim to the American Cancer Society, as cancer research was one cause he cared deeply about. We've set up a special tribute page to make it simple. For those unable to attend, there will be a live stream. (GoFundMe has a glitch and may show the service as being on July 30; please note it is on July 31.)

We will be printing a group card to place inside his casket. If you'd like to share your memories and/or photos of Jim there, please sign it by Tuesday, 12 p.m. PT.

It is bittersweet that I share Pastor Jim’s work here on earth is done, and now he is in heaven. As it states in 2 Timothy 4: 7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.“ Pastor Jim has done these things faithfully during his time here on earth. He died peacefully and wasn’t in pain. He left a great legacy. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout Pastor Jim’s life.
