Sophie

For those of you that know me, know I dislike most forms of exercise, especially the running kind! I thought it was about time I challenged myself to do a 5k, which may not sound a lot to most but is to someone that gets out of breath running up the stairs!

Also for those of you that know me, will know that I am lucky enough to care for a little girl called Sophie (I am sure that’s not a shock, she is my favourite subject to talk about!) Since caring for Sophie she has got me through break ups, make ups, bad days and everything between, without even saying a word. She is truly amazing and lights up any room she enters. I count myself the luckiest person to be able to spend time with her everyday. Sophie has gone through some really tricky and scary times throughout her life and never even makes a fuss. I feel like now is the time to give Sophie something back as she deserves the whole world and more.

Sophie and her wonderful family moved house a couple of years ago to gain more space for Sophie and her specialist equipment. They are currently going through the process of having the house adapted, which they have all waited patiently for. I would like to use any money raised to buy Sophie new sensory equipment for her brand new bedroom (which if you don’t know, costs triple the amount than regular toys!). Sophie needs this equipment to meet her sensory needs daily and to keep her entertained. I would love Sophie to feel comfy, cosy and most importantly have the most fun in her new space. It would mean the world to me if you could donate what you can so Sophie can have everything she deserves.
