Wareham Family In Danger of Eviction
Donation protected
Hello, I am raising funds for a friend that is in danger of being evicted, leaving her and her three sons homeless. She received notice last night that she would be evicted tomorrow morning. Thankfully, she was able to get two more weeks to come up with the money needed to make her current on rent.
Amy Patton is disabled and a single mom that struggles to make ends meet as she is paying more than 40% of her income towards rent, leaving her very little for utilities and everything else that she and her sons need. She has a plan in the works for the future, but desperately needs help now to stay in her home.
Amy has persevered through a lot. Her life was turned upside down by a leukemia diagnosis which she miraculously and thankfully survived. Getting back on track was difficult and led to Amy and her children being homeless for a few months several years ago. She managed to get an apartment, but we all know that the cost of living has gotten out of hand. Her children are good kids and we want their family to stay together, which may not happen with the lack of space in shelters.
Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated. Able to give or not, please share this so that others can help too. Thank you, Jennifer
Thank you so much to everyone that has donated so far. We are 1/10th of the way there and running out of time. Please continue to share.
