Donna Bigham Funeral Expenses

Our beloved Donna unexpectedly left us to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23rd. She was a wonderful mom, wife, grandmother ("Nonna"), sister, and friend who touched the lives of those who were blessed to have known her. Donna dedicated her life to serving others through her nursing career and loved her family immensely. She was an angel on earth, who had the biggest heart and always put her family and others before herself. Our family is devastated by her sudden loss, and were not prepared for the high costs of funeral services, along with the unexpected medical expenses. We want to give Donna the memorial she deserves to honor her memory.

Many folks have been asking where to send food and/or flowers. We are extremely appreciative of everyone's generosity, however donations to help cover the cost of the funeral services would be the most beneficial to us at this moment. Thank you to everyone for the support, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

For those of you who may not have known Donna: She was born and raised in South Carolina, where she also met her husband Larry of 36 years and raised their three daughters: Dawn (35), April (31), and Lauren (24). She served her community by working 39 years in the mom/baby department of the local hospital. She brought joy to many families and was a mentor to many young nurses, including her oldest daughter who followed in her nursing footsteps. Besides caring for others, she was a great cook and lover of coffee, the beach, a good cocktail and dessert, Clemson Football, gospel and country music, and had an eye for finding the best deals while shopping. She was a proud Clemson Mom and grandmother (aka “Nonna”) of Beckham (3) and Haven (1.5), who would do anything for her family and friends. She raised her daughters to be strong, independent women and to keep God close to their heart. Thank you for your support as we honor our dearest Donna. 

This fund was arranged by Donna’s daughter, Lauren. All donations will go directly to Donna’s husband, Larry, to assist with any of her funeral or medical expenses.
