Hi, My name is Mari. Poncho was my Tio. Im starting this gofundme for my Tia, his wife as well as my cousins.

My Tio Poncho was an amazing man. He loved his family FIERCELY and he would have never wanted to leave them given the choice.

Unfortunately, that choice was taken from him because of the negligence of someone else.

He and his granddaughter were hit by a car yesterday near Jefferson School. His granddaughter suffered many injuries and was flown to regional medical center and later Valley Childrens. She has now been discharged and is expected to make a full recovery.

I am asking for financial support for my family to help with the expenses of planning a funeral as well as my nieces medical expenses. The last thing anyone wants to worry about is money while dealing with the loss of the patriarch of their family. This family would give the shirt of their back for anyone in need. I know a lot of people in town knew my Tio Poncho, have heard him play at your parties and enjoyed his company. His family now needs your support. Please do not shy away because of the amount, anything will help and I know they will appreciate anything. If you cannot give, please pray for their healing.
