Emily's Loss

Gerry Longo was loved by many people, but most by his wife Sharon and the light of his life, their only child Emily. Gerry struggled recently with depression and ultimately succumbed to his illness on April 21, 2023 leaving Emily and Sharon. My name is Chris Meehan and I am proud to have called Gerry my friend.

Emily recently finished her freshman year in college. Because Gerry was my friend, and Sharon and Emily are so important to me, I would like to raise money for Emily's ongoing college expenses. All funds raised will go towards Emily's tuition and related school expenses.

Losing a parent is always a tragedy but especially at such a critical life juncture as the beginning of college. Nothing can bring back Gerry to Emily and Sharon but with your assistance, and generosity, I hope we can all help Emily through this part of her life.
