Boundless Brilliance is an organization that aims to inspire young girls to have the confidence to pursue anything they set their mind to, especially futures in STEM fields. The organization was founded in January 2017 by Audrey Shawley, Hannah Hayes and Nina Doeff.
The purpose of Boundless Brilliance is to instill into young girls a simple message: you are brilliant and you can be a scientist if you want to be. Far too frequently, girls are discouraged from entering the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). They’re told that they’re “just not a math person”, or that they shouldn’t be interested in engineering because “that’s a man’s job”.
Boundless Brilliance presenters come to all gender elementary school classrooms and community organizations to deliver 30 minute presentations that aim to raise girls up by encouraging them to pursue STEM fields, and believe that they are truly brilliant.
Since our founding, we have delivered over 250 presentations at 11 different elementary school, reaching over 7,000 students!
Our mission is to deliver short presentations to energize the girls to embrace their brilliance and close the gender gap in STEM fields!
If you are interested in bringing Boundless Brilliance to your elementary school, or establishing a college chapter of Boundless Brilliance, please visit www.boundlessbrilliance.org or email [email redacted] for more information!
