Shauna's Treatment

(We just want to update the page to let you know that we, along with a group of friends are taking on ' the national three peaks challenge on 23rd - 24th June.  We want to get some money together to carry on Mum's treatment which is working well as an alternative to chemo.

We are raising money to help with our Mum's treatment for cancer.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 of an usual cancer that had spread to her lungs.  In 2013 she was given between 1-5 years to live.  She had 6 months of chemo and was in remission for about 12 months but then was told that the tumours in her lungs had started to grow again and was offered more chemo.  Instead of accepting the chemo she decided to investigate a more natural aproach in the form of nutrition and cellular nutritional medicines- phyto nutrients, antioxidents, large amounts of vitamin C etc.  The results from this 'natural way' have shown really positive results

Obviously this treatment is not available on the NHS and has to be self funded.  So far we have been shown so much kindness in the way of donations from various friends and family, and fundraising she has done, but there is an ongoing need for funding for the treatment.
